Battlefield 1 Gaming Benchmark
Battlefield 1 is first person shooter video game, published by EA. It was released on October 2016. Unlike most, this game does not include an in-game benchmark. This makes it perfect for more real-world gaming tests. To obtain repeatable results we have used FRAPs and recorded the first 60 seconds of the opening of Episode 4, O La Vittoria. Then 60 second of the start of “Through Mud and Blood” which is tank themed. Four runs for each section was taken and the average for both is combined.
The settings used in the testing below are Ultra display settings with Vsync disabled, at a resolution of 1080P and 1440P.
Battlefield 5 Gaming Benchmark
Battlefield 5 is first person shooter video game, published by EA. It was released on November 2018. This game does not include an in-game benchmark. To obtain repeatable results we have used FRAPs and recorded 5 minutes of the Under No Flag level. The test begins after the cut scene where you get to watch the bombs planted explode and where you are directed to destroy enemy aircraft. This section was chosen as it combines numerous NPCs, explosions, and is generally fun to play as well as being highly repeatable.
The settings used in the testing below are Ultra display settings with Vsync at a resolution of 1080P , 1440P, and 4K.
