As the above summary charts show the Ryzen 3 series is packed with value. Yes you will get lower overall performance but the decrease in performance is in no way relative to the decrease in cost. With that being said the Ryzen 3 1300X is the better value as for only a couple bucks more you get a much more powerful CPU.
