Assassins Creed: Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a 2018 action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. While this game does come with a in-game benchmark we have instead opted for a 5 minute gameplay in the Agora in Athens that consists of using Athena’s Sight, running, and fighting with various NPCs for five minutes. An average of four runs was taken.

The settings used in the testing below are the Graphic Quality Ultra default settings. At a resolution of 1080P and 1440P.

Battlefield 5 Gaming Benchmark

Battlefield 5 is first person shooter video game, published by EA. It was released on November 2018. This game does not include an in-game benchmark. To obtain repeatable results we have used FRAPs and recorded 5 minutes of the Under No Flag level. The test begins after the cut scene where you get to watch the bombs planted explode and where you are directed to destroy enemy aircraft. This section was chosen as it combines numerous NPCs, explosions, and is generally fun to play as well as being highly repeatable.
The settings used in the testing below are Ultra display settings with Vsync at a resolution of 1080P and 1440P.

Call of Duty: WW2

Call of Duty: WWII is a first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It was released in November 2017. Since it does not include an in-game benchmark, it is perfect for more real-world gaming testing. To obtain repeatable results we have used FRAPs and recorded the first five minutes of gameplay of the D-Day Invasion level. This level was chosen as it is the most graphics intense portion of the game with incredible scene complexity that has to be rendered. The custom run through starts as soon as the boat landing cutscene ends. An average of four runs was taken.

All settings were set to maximum detail. E.G. Filmic SMAA T2x, Normal and Specular Map Resolution set to Extra, Ambient Occlusion set to off, at a resolution of 1080P and 1440P.

Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 is an action-adventure first-person shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It was released on March 2018. As this game comes with a built in benchmark that provides fairly realistic results we have opted for it.

The settings used in the testing below are Ultra graphics preset, at a resolution of 1080P and 1440P.
