Performance: 38 out of 40
It is the rare thin radiator based AIO that can hang with the big dogs… and yet that is precisely what the new Cooler Master MasterLiquid ATMOS series can do. To be blunt, thanks to the marvel of engineering that is its new block, the ATMOS offers phenomenal performance and still offer the ease of installation that AIOs are known for. Color us impressed.
Ease of Use: 18 out of 20
Cooler Master have always been all about offering great customer service and satisfaction. The new ML ATMOS series continues that proud tradition and then some. The only minor niggle is the fact one will have to source out additional (3rd party) hardware in order to use push-pull fan configurations as Cooler Master has once again cut that corner… all the way to the bone. Which is a shame as this minor issue becomes glaring when it is basically the only issue to be found with the new ATMOS.
Build Quality & Warranty: 18 out 20
There is no denying that Cooler Master knows how to build an excellent AIO. Everything from the high performance, yet low noise dual chambered pump; to the little extras like a dedicated magnetic ARGB controller; all highlight Cooler Master’s experience at building killer cooling solutions.
Value: 18 out 20
Cooler Master has always been known for offering excellent value cooling solutions and the new ATMOS takes that sterling reputation and turns the dial all the way to eleven. For the first time in recent memory buyers can get darn near all the performance benefits that go along with a beefy radiator without thick radiator installation hassle factor. The fact that Cooler Master can offer both and do so at a rather reasonable price, for its class, is phenomenal. Now if they would only stop corner cutting the included accessory list… and using a clear film on the block base to eliminate in-transit tarnishing of the copper block’s base.
Final Score: 92 out 100
The Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 ATMOS may indeed continue Cooler Master’s ‘proud’ tradition of giving their All In One cooling solutions extremely long names, but much like the PL360 FLUX A.E. the new ATMOS series earns the right to a thirty seven character name. Put bluntly, it offers the best of both worlds: ease of installation (and use) that go along with using a ‘thin’ radiator, while at the same time offering (darn near) ‘thick’ radiator performance levels. Now if Cooler Master would make a Special Edition with a ‘thick’ radiator, and offer a 5015 blower edition block topper cad file (so we don’t have to do it ourselves), and we would be truly happy with this best in class cooling solution.
