Packaging & Accessories: 9 out of 10
Even though the accessories included are merely average the shipping container is anything but. Its striking good looks and overkill level of foam really is an example to other companies on how to do protection right.
Functionality & Aesthetics: 18 out of 20
There is no denying that the Zotac GTX 1070Ti’s Mini does make a certain amount of sacrifices in the cooling and noise department in order to make it a ‘mini’ form-factored card. By the same token these sacrifices are minimal and we doubt anyone but true overclocking or silent PC enthusiasts will ever care. It simply works and works well. The only real nitpick is in the lighting options which is a touch lackluster compared to some other brand’s options.
Build Quality & Warranty: 18 out of 20
Once again this card redefines what consumers can expect to get in a mini package. No longer will major sacrifices have to be made in order to get a 1070Ti that is not as large as a keyboard!
Performance: 27 out of 30
As shown throughout this review this mini card can more than hold its own against typically sized variants. The only minor issue is it makes a bit more noise to do it. It’s not a loud card, but it is not dead silent either. That is about the only sacrifice one can expect to make when using it over typically sized models. Color us impressed.
Value: 18 out of 20
For the average consumer we consider the value of this card to be more in its ease of installation and ease of use rather than its price to performance ratio. That is not the same as saying it offers poor performance; rather it offers similar levels of performance as larger cards (which is amazing) but costs a smidge more than the typical GeForce GTX 1070Ti.
Final Score: 91 out of 100
The Zotac GeForce GTX 1070Ti Mini redefines what a ‘mini’ card can offer. To say that Zotac has significantly raised the bar for this corner of the market is an understatement. This in conjunction with its downright minuscule price premium makes this card a real winner in our books.
