Performance: 38 out of 40.

While the not absolute fastest we have seen in recent memory the fact of the matter is the Sport LT line is Ballistix’s value orientated line. For the value end of the marketplace the Sport LT DDR4-3200 is bloody amazing. This level of performance really was once reserved for only the more premier and flagship models… all of which cost a lot more than the Sport LT commands.

Ease of Use: 20 out of 20

While this is a 1.35v RAM kit, it is plug and play simple to use. Yes you will have to enable the DDR4-3200 frequencies and timings via XMP (or manually on AMD), and while yes this requires 1.35v this kit will work first time, every time, at 1.2v at lower frequencies. This ease of use is what we have come to expect from Ballistix and we just wish every other manufacture did the same.

Build Quality & Warranty: 18 out of 20

A lot of time and effort went into making the new additions to the Sport LT the best it can be. Everything from multiple color options to rather attractive heat spreaders to a more elegant heat spreader have been included to make this the best Sport LT model released to date. There still is room for improvement but the build quality is now almost as impressive as the lifetime warranty.

Value: 19 out of 20

The Sport series has always been all about offering the best value possible and the new DDR4-3200 models are no exception. The combination of reasonable asking price, with rather fast frequencies is a winning one with a veritable ton of value. So much so that many will find extremely hard to ignore.

Final Score: 95 out 100

Ballistix may not have made ‘the perfect’ set of RAM that will be optimal for all builds and budgets… but what they have done with their refresh is very, very impressive. The new DDR4-3200 variant of the Sport LT is simply the most refined, most versatile, and yes best value Sport LT model released to date.
