TL;DR
It certainly will not be right for everyone, as it is a touch expensive for its class, but this card really does earn its ‘extreme’ branding. Equally impressive is the combination of AMP! and AMP! Extreme is as potent a one-two combination as we have seen from any manufacture. Between these two cards it really will come down to what you are mostly concerned about: price vs performance. Performance in noise, temperature or pixel pushing it doesn’t matter. The Extreme is the better model. Just be prepared to pay a premium for it.
