Packaging & Accessories: 7 out of 10
This card may not include many goo gaws or other sundries but the accessories does cover all the bases nicely. The same holds true of the shipping container. It certainly will not wow you with its overkill packaging but it still gets the job done.
Functionality & Aesthetics: 16 out of 20
There is no denying that the ACX design is not efficient as the ICX. That is not the same as saying it is ineffective. It is. It gets the job done and is pretty good about, it is just louder while doing it. However, the lack of a secondary 6-pin power connector and rather mediocre looks is something a lot of people can not get past. Use that to your advantage when negotiating an even better deal on this card!
Build Quality & Warranty: 18 out of 20
While it certainly is no For The Win, the EVGA GeForce GTX 1070Ti SuperClocked Black Edition is still built to a very high standard. When paired with EVGA’s legendary warranty and we doubt many will have any concerns about either.
Performance: 27 out of 30
As shown throughout this review the 1070Ti Black Edition SuperClocked may not be as fast as a FTW2, let alone a stock GTX 1080, but with excellent overclocking potential the gap quickly narrows and in some cases disappears. It is for this reason we think the performance of this little card is pretty darn good.
Value: 18 out of 20
It may not be the slam dunk like the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080Ti SC BE… but its value is darn good at retail prices and will be simply phenomenal when they start cropping up in the near future in the used marketplace.
Final Score: 86 out of 100
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1070Ti SC BE is one of those hidden gems that you have to know about to really ‘get’. However, if you do find one of these going for rock bottom prices it would be a really, really bad move to overlook it. Its performance potential is simply too great to ignore.
