Tomb Raider Gaming Benchmark
Tomb Raider is an action-adventure video game published by Square Enix and released in March 2013. The game has a benchmark component to it that mimics game play and an average of four runs was taken.
The settings used in the testing below are Ultimate default settings for quality, VSync disabled and a resolution of 2560×1440 and 1920×1080.
Unfortunately with Tomb Raider the GeForce GTX 770 XLR8 OC2’s result does fall back a step or two and the difference does nearly hit 3fps minimum and 6fps on the average. This translates into $23 per FPS minimum frame performance and $12fps average performance increase when comparing this GeForce GTX 770 to a stock 780. That is getting awfully close to making the 770 not worth the savings – but it still is enough to make it a tough decision!
