Accessories: 5 out of 5
Lifetime warranty, actually useful software, the usual clamshell card holder, and a UHS-II USB card reader. What more could anyone ask for?!

Read performance: 22 out 25
The read performance that this new series has to offer is rather impressive. Sadly, for a relatively new standard it still is only moderately fast on the insane meter. The governing body of the SD specifications should have aimed even higher, but compared to revision 3.01 the new 4.0 standard is still a major step in the right direction.

Write performance: 36 out of 40
For a SD card this new Professional 2000X series is fantastically fast. The only issue is that it still is not as fast as what other competing specifications can offer, and that is what will keep SD and their new UHS-II from leaving the mainstream market and breaking into the professional marketplace. By the same token this new level of performance will allow SD to not only stay in the mainstream arena but dominate it.

Warranty: 9 out of 10
Just as with the all Professional series, the Lexar 2000X Professional series come with a lifetime warranty that is backstopped by one of the largest NAND manufactures in the world: Micron. This means that the Lexar Professional lifetime warranty is indeed a true lifetime warranty and will be honored for your lifetime and not the cards! The only minor issue is RMA’ing one may mean shipping it to the States. If you have a Micron RMA depot in your country, then you can consider this card a perfect 10.

Value: 18 out of 20
With standout performance in both modes the new 2000X is hard to beat and will satisfy users demands for years (and many new devices) to come. Mix in a reasonable asking price and the result is pretty hard to argue with.

Final Score: 90 / 100Lexar Pro 2000x 28By harnessing the power of the new UHS-II standard Lexar has been able to create quite the little power house. Throughout testing this card reacted more like what we would expect from a QXD or even CFast (1.0) card – and not a ‘mere’ SD card. More importantly Lexar took the time to make this card truly backwards compatible and this is what makes this new series truly special.
