Most have heard of Blue mics as they have been the staple of the value streamer for a long time now, but with the many issues these mics have had from, Bad quality USB ports, driver issues and more has caused them to drop out of favor with some. Now when I came across FiFine and heard many people saying that their FiFine K669 beats the Blue Snowball iCE in many ways I had to find out for myself.
Testing these two mics even at sub $50 prices are an absolute pleasure. The Blue Snowball Ice Coming in at $49.99 and the FiFine K669 coming in at $29.99. Even though the saying you get what you pay for maybe true on many things when it comes to these two mics their amazing Values shine through.
Specifications
Now the specs maybe nothing out of the normal for USB mics these days it is the price that really impresses and the build quality of the Cardioid Mics themselves. Where Blue fails on their love of discount USB ports can scare some away, including this reviewer the FiFine K669 is a built in USB cable that if damaged leaves the mic useless. Though Personally, a builtin USB cable can be a plus if the mic is sub $30 and the competitions low-cost mic has a history of these ports breaking.
Both mics are great options for a value podcaster, starving student or new streamer.
