Quality: 5 out of 5

Great cherry red switches with the much requested volume wheel as well as the very nice rubberized key cap covers make the Hyper X Alloy Elite, feel like the Corsair K70 but with more style grace and features.

Features: 4 out of 5

LED Controls are great to see as well as the Dedicated Game mode key that turns off the windows button. The many LED light effects are a much needed addition to the HyperX Alloy line and should make 99% of people who purchase the HyperX Alloy Elite very happy unless you “need” RGB

Packaging and Accessories: 4 out of 5

Packaging is great and feels durable, there is little fear the keyboard will show up damaged. The Additional keycaps look and feel great but they lack the rubber coating the stock ones have so for myself they will not be used. The wrist rest is comfortable and the guide is simple but useful.

Value: 4.5 out of 5

Almost perfect in the value section with that 2 year warranty (wish it was 3) but the 109.99 USD price point is great and comes in at around $10 less than my no longer favorite keyboard the Corsair K70.

Overall: With the great light features, lower than expected price point and awesome soft to the touch key cap coating the HyperX ALLOY Elite is a must have Mechanical Keyboard for the value gamer all the way up to the pros.
