Gigabyte AORUS GTX 1070 Review 61

On the one hand this card cannot compete on a price vs performance basis against more classical sized cards. On the other these numbers are awfully good. So good it is basically a tie with an EVGA GTX 1070Ti SC BE and possibly a touch better (certainly within error tolerances of any testing). That is bloody amazing giving the size disparity between these two cards and is well beyond what we expected it to do.

TL;DR

This card is not going to be right for everyone. If you have room for a massive sized video card the extra money is going to be worth it considering it is one of the cheaper ‘mega 1070s’ out there. Unfortunately, if your case and motherboard can accommodate massive sized video cards there are some better alternatives. Just be ready to pay a premium for them. In other words, this card has a ton of value. Just understand the compromises Gigabyte had to make in order to offer such a great value card.
