Performance: 36 out of 40.

As with the Crucial Pro 64GB kits previously reviewed, we are in no shape or form saying that this 128GB kit of DDR5-5600 is the most powerful, fastest DDR5 kit going… as it is a DDR5-5600 kit. Not DDR5-8000. What we are saying, and how we are judging it, is based upon its class. By 128GB capacity standards, this is a fairly fast kit of RAM. Equally impressive is one gets all this performance via a single click in the BIOS with little to no ‘manual’ tweaking required. Turn on XMP/EXPO and off you go. If you do want a smidgen more performance it is a fairly easy endeavor to shave the CAS latency down nicely. That is indeed win-win, and well above average for its class.

Ease of Use: 20 out of 20

Crucial really does know what professionals want and then goes out of their way to give precisely that to them. All without the typical price-increasing dross that other manufacturers seem to be addicted to. To be precise professionals want their mega-capacity RAM kits to be as close to plug and play as possible. They want them to play nice with both AMD and Intel systems. They want them to be low profile so as to not have to worry about installation issues with CPU cooling solutions. They want all that and they want the kit to seamlessly blend into a wide range of custom builds. That… is a long list of demands and yet that is a surprisingly good definition of what the Crucial Pro DDR5-5600 128GB kit offers buyers. Color us impressed.

Build Quality & Warranty: 20 out of 20

As befitting of their Professional moniker, the Crucial Pro DDR5-5600 128GB kit is built to an extremely high standard. One that will not only last through multiple system upgrades but also look like they are worthy of being carried over from one system build to the next… to the next… to the next. This is good as it does come with, and thus you are paying for, a lifetime warranty. A warranty backstopped by a company known for both their customer service and the likelihood of them sticking around for… well… as long as RAM is being made.

Value: 18 out of 20

Are their cheaper kits of DDR5 available today? Yes. There are even cheaper faster kits of DDR5 available. Are their kits of DDR5 available today that are just as easy to use? Yes. Plenty of slower, and faster, kits offer both Intel and AMD programming. Even Crucial’s very own Pro DDR5-6xxx OC editions offer just as good to better ease of use than this 128GB kit. Are there prettier kits available today? Yes. Many companies offer LED equipped options that are arguably ‘prettier’ than this kit. There are however very few mega-capacity kits of RAM that offer the Crucial Pro DDR5-5600 128GB kit’s blend of aesthetics, performance, ease of use, and yes price. That is the secret to the inevitable success of this new addition to the Crucial Pro lineup as they are just so good at such a wide variety of tasks. So good that they are greater than the sum of their parts. Thus, while there is still some room for improvement (namely in the CAS latency department) the overall value is gosh darn high with this kit.

Final Score: 94%

With this mega-capacity kit of DDR5-5600 RAM Crucial has cemented its Pro line’s reputation for offering easy to use and high value options that are as reliable as they are practical. Put bluntly, Crucial’s DDR5 Pro line does not offer the moon and the stars, and instead every promise a given kit of ram makes you can pretty much take it to the bank that you will get all that and a bit more. Which is remarkable when talking about 64GBx2 kits that promise to run at DDR5-5600 frequencies! Color us highly impressed.
